Second one I'd probably use to found a custom CKO in another holding - the earlier you start training them, the better off you'll be.īeyond that, you can use Qualis Gems to increase your or your companions' stats, hire Noldor troops, get access to Quigfen's inventory, or get the best weapons in the game.
You can get KOs without Qualis Gems, but frankly I don't think they measure up. Upgraded Silvermists are killer in sieges. Ebony Gauntlet is supposedly a fan favourite, but I never use them - their quests have you hunting Noldor patrols. Having access to those troops speeds up the mid-game immeasurably. Shadow Legion are amazing if you're looking for suggestions. Get close to that and you'll be extremely hard to kill and you'll mow down enemies left and right.įirst one, I'd use to build a Knighthood Order chapter house.
Probably the biggest money maker in the game. Suddenly you'll actually be making a profit just on the mercenary payment and let's not forget about prisoner management. But more than that is the decrease in the cost of troops. Having 60 in STR also means having 60 extra points of health (1 per STR IIRC) and also maxing out Ironflesh.Ħ0 in Charisma may only equate to an extra 20 men but that's before you max out leadership. Now take it up to 60 and you be able to kite an entire army that is trying to chase you down and just keep killing them and staying out of reach. I can tell a big difference between having 6 in agility and having 30. If you start the game and put all your points into intelligence and then just use Qualis Gems to upgrade STR, AG, and CHA, then it absolutely makes a big difference.įor starters you can make out powerstrike and powerdraw and you won't need to put a single point into weapon mastery since it also gives you points for that as well.Īnd it is noticeable.
